We are now closed for the apple season until next August. Hope everyone got all the apples they were hoping for this year!
Just wanted to say how thankful we are for your support of our orchard. We LOVE getting to provide apples for you all to pick and an orchard you can come and enjoy yourself in. And even more we get to see regular customers each year and meet lots of new ones. We have the BEST customers and can’t be more grateful. Thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
We will be open until the last day of November for you to enjoy apple picking!
We have Granny Smith, Cripps Pink, Braeburn, Gold Rush and smaller amounts of Melrose and Jonagold still to pick. Quality is great on all these. (Jonagold is still crunchy and good but pretty ripe. Don’t plan to store Jonagold long.)
We are open everyday next week but Thanksgiving Day will definitely be self-serve. Some days, especially if the weather is raining, we will be self-serve. Please come prepared with cash just in case. Saturday and Sundays, we will have an attendant in the orchard.
If it is self-serve, please put your money in the slot in office door. The office is the smaller of the 2 blue houses when you drive in the driveway.

Jonagold
Golden Delicious
Melrose.
Little bit of Fuji too.
Jonagold and Goldens are getting ripe but still crunchy to eat and perfect sweetness for applesauce.
For the Fujis, we marked each tree that has apples with a red flag. The farthest 5 trees in each row have nice, larger sized apples.
If you’d like apples to store over the winter, now is a good time to pick so they don’t get over ripe. Cripps Pink apples are the best for storing long term we have found but any of the winter apples (Braeburn, Gold Rush, Granny Smith) do well.
